Interior

Inside the central hull the trimaran is divided into areas. The list of areas is given in the list of materials and equipment under number 3.12. For each area listed a square footage surface area is provided, including the covers and door. The positions of the areas are shown in the general plans, No.1. All the elements that are made according to the plans, as caps, gates, seats, cabinets, coatings, foundations, console and sink are made by vacuum infusion in a mold or a flat surface. Parts of the elements are subsequently strip laminated and connected or linked to the hull and surrounding structures.

 

Elements that are made according to the design drawings are shown in 42.11.1, 42.31.2 - 42.31.7.

Covers of all the storage spaces have slots. The lids are attached by Velcro strips to the frames as to prevent opening due to trimaran tilting.

All door hinges are connected to the surrounding structures. Hinges are recessed into the laminate and are fixed to the laminate with corresponding screws inox AISI 316. The door hasa built-blocking mechanism. When blocking mechanism is installed it is neccessary to ensure a good fit on the door frame.

The covering of the stern partition is connected with the L- profile with inox screws AISI 316 that are glued to the hull nice with structural adhesive. Positionsof the L profiles are shown in the drawingsThe 42nd 31.7.

The stern and bow berths and seat lounges are made of foam covered with cloth. The foam must be non-flammable, should not absorb moisture and must be comfortable to sleep on. The fabric which lines the sponge must be nonflammable and made of natural materials very resistant to abrasion. The fabric which lines the sponge should be fabricated so as to enable easy removal for maintenance.

In the stern storage space it is necessary to construct and customize the bed fuel tank, and at forsee the best way to tape the fuel tank to the slot, to avoid the tank tipping due to the cross tilting of the trimaran. It is necessary to further strengthen the rear housing ladder to the surrounding structures with inox strips in the stern storage area.

On the left and right side of the stern berth there is a net for storage.

On the aft bulkhead of the stern berths on the left and right side there is a LED lamp. The exact position of installation of the lights will be determined on the spot in consultation with clients and designers.

On the aft bulkhead of the lounges right locker switches and 12 V socket are installed, and at its inner side a junction box with a terminal board and a fuse is built-in. On the ceiling of the salon LED lighting is used.

The battery is situated on the right In the stern storage area of beds. The battery is positioned in a waterproof box fixed with a strap.

On the left and right side of the bow berth ther is a LED bed lamp. The exact position of installation of lights will be determined on the spot in consultation with clients and designers.

The finishing of the surface area of the resident area includes the preparation of the surface for example for the final paint spraying.

Generally, storage finishing is not required, unless differently indicated.

Battery chargers, audio and video systems, water tanks, sinks with faucets, bilge pumps and chemical toilets can be additionally added according to the clients wishes and requests.

The battery charger will be stored in the starboard bow cockpit locker.

The central audio and video system unit is placed on the front right lounge bulkhead locker, the speakers are fitted into the finishing of the bulkhead of the saloon.A LCD screen is put on the bulkhead of the bow berths

The exact position of installation of the components, audio and video systems will be agreed on site in consultation with clients and designers.

The water tank is placed in the bow locker aft berths.

The sink and faucet is fitted in the left cupboard of the lounge.

The bilge pump is fitted in the bow locker lounge.

In the case of chemical toilet installation it is necessary to develop housing for its installation.

Elements of the reservoir should be adapted to the shape of the toilet during the installation.
